Hey guys... I am new to this forum and new to iphone


when i was trying to get a new installer4 in my 3g.

i was getting QuickPwn up and get everything set. When i was in the middle of instruction..


Anybody understand this..

"hold down home button for # second.."
"hold down home and power button together for # second..(do not let go of home)"
"release the pwer button and contuinue to hold home for # seconds.."


Right before "wait while your iphone is prepared for jailbreaking." it came up like this " Your device has connected in the wrong mode. This can be caused by incorrect following of the instrecitons, or a faulty USB connection. Please try again."


What am i doing it wrong?  can anyone explain this: Home button  and  Power button?
